Project Description


We are accepting applications for a Full Time Utility Worker/Dishwasher to work in our Dining Services Department. Shift hours are 12:00pm – 8:00pm.

This position works by providing essential sanitation in the kitchen. This person is responsible for the cleaning of dishes, equipment, walls, floors, facilities and assigned area in the scope of Dining Service function.

  • Able to set up and break down the dish machine, following appropriate sanitation standards.

  • Dishes and kitchen equipment must be clean, sanitized and stored appropriately.

  • Responsible for routine sanitation of kitchen equipment per cycle or leadership direction.

  • Responsible for sweeping, cleaning and mopping of floors to maintain them in a high sanitary condition.

  • Responsible for proper waste disposal and cleaning of trash receptacles inside and out.

  • Works as a team member to meet resident and facility needs.

  • Follows all safety regulations per SDS sheets when using chemicals and follows safe food handling practices.

  • Attend monthly in-service training and education sessions, as assigned to maintain continued employment.

  • Contributes to a positive, healthy and safe work environment.


Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background screen.
