Utility Worker/Dishwasher

We are accepting applications for a full-time or part time Utility Worker/Dishwasher to work in our Dining Services Department.

This position works providing essential sanitation in the kitchen. This person is responsible for the cleaning of dishes, equipment, walls, floors, facilities and assigned area in the scope of Dining Service function.

Able to set up and break down the dish machine, following appropriate sanitation standards.
Dishes and kitchen equipment must be clean, sanitized and stored appropriately.
Responsible for routine sanitation of kitchen equipment per cycle or leadership direction.
Responsible for sweeping, cleaning and mopping of floors to maintain them in a high sanitary condition.
Responsible for proper waste disposal and cleaning of trash receptacles inside and out.
Works as a team member to meet resident and facility needs.
Follows all safety regulations per SDS sheets when using chemicals and follows safe food handling practices.

Qualifications

Required:

Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal background screen.
Ability to work with sensitive/confidential material.
